Day on the Town

Today, my sister and I went to Waco with three awesome girlfriends. We shopped, ate and shopped some more.

Being that we are all girls, what do you think we shopped for? That's right, shoes and clothes!

All of us are on some sort of budget or another. (Two of us are newlyweds, one of us just completed a year-long term of mission work and the other two still live at home.) So, most of the time, we just looked.

But what I loved about it, was just having some girl time to hang out and have fun. It was very entertaining to listen to each of their opinions on different articles of clothing. I think it's totally awesome that each of them has slightly different tastes.

While we were shopping, none of them except for my sister, knew about this blog. So it was pretty cool to listen to them discussing their various levels of comfort, as far as modesty goes. Their styles are different and their comfort levels are different, and you know what the most awesome thing about that is? The fact that all of us are totally cool with the fact that we are different! I love it when someone is okay with being at a different comfort level-fashion wise, and okay with other people having different standards than their's.

Its amazing all the different comfort levels! Some make sure their shirts have sleeves and show no cleavage, while others must have their sleeves covering their elbows and their neck-lines right at the base of their neck. Now obviously those examples I gave are from opposite sides of the spectrum. Regardless of where you are, you probably have experienced limitations on availability. However, the more conservative, the harder it is and the more diligently you have to look. But don't worry. Somewhere out there, there is something for everybody and we are gonna find it  :)
